About Sharon Varghese

Sharon recently graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a B.A. in Public Health Studies and a concentration in mental health. During her time at Hopkins, she has served Baltimore City through the Johns Hopkins Center for a Livable Future, Greater Homewood Community Corporation, the Incentive Mentoring Program, and Stepping Stone Ministry. Sharon Varghese is now Project Director of Congregations Restoring Creation for the Central Maryland Ecumenical Council as an ESC intern. In her spare time, Sharon loves to learn songs on her guitar (Stephen), sing, read spiritual/theological articles and books, explore nature, spend quality time with her family, friends, church, and meet new people. She also has a strong fondness for cats and puppies that will make her go out of her way to pet them.
