About Zenobia Taylor-Weiss
Zenobia Taylor-Weiss was part of ESC-MD's pioneer class in 2011-2012. While she was an intern she worked with the Episcopal Housing Corporation and the Episcopal Church of the Guardian Angel as a community builder in Baltimore's Remington neighborhood. Her year with ESC was very formative and she remains close to her fellow community members from the pioneer year to this day. After ESC Zenobia decided to stay in Baltimore continuing her community development work in other parts of the city. Zenobia served on the ESC-MD interview committee and advisory board, and also worked as a mentor to the Baltimore chapter of Lutheran Volunteer Service. She also worked on Health Care Reform in Maryland and started her first business, preZerve, a company that taught the art of preserving food (making jam, pickles, etc.). After four wonderful years in Baltimore Zenobia felt called to serve abroad and currently works with refugees in Beirut, Lebanon.
